Welcome to The Blk Coin Collective (“BCC”) community! Our goal is to provide all of our users with a safe space to discuss [brand/products or values]. We want all of our users to be part of our community, starting with a safe environment where your voice can be heard. We encourage your feedback and aim to respond to your comments as soon as possible. While we do moderate this community to ensure it is a safe place, we welcome open discussion.

The BCC was created to provide an online central location/hub for members to locate, engage with, and support Black-owned businesses. The BCC will make these businesses more visible and accessible by curating information about Black-owned businesses. The BCC will also make business creation and maintenance more viable to the future generation of Black business owners.

To help everyone share and enjoy our community, we ask that when you post, you keep in mind the following:

  • Comments that promote illegal activity.
  • We don’t allow defamatory, indecent, offensive, profane, discriminatory, fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, or threatening comments.
  • Personal attacks, name-calling, trolling, abuse, and racially insensitive language will not be tolerated.
  • Harassing, intimidating, or threatening comments to another person.
  • Comments that incite violence or other action in violation of any federal or state anti-discrimination laws.
  • Sexually explicit and sexually vulgar language and profanity.
  • Our community is a public place. Don’t post personal information that you would not be comfortable sharing with a stranger. We recommend that you don’t post any information that may identify you or anyone else, such as your address, email address, or phone number.
  • Spamming, posting promotional material, or posting links to third-party websites is not permitted.
  • We reserve the right to delete comments at our discretion and block repeat offenders. We will remove content that is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading.
  • Coordinated group attacks will not be tolerated.
  • Respect that other people in the community have had different life experiences and may have a different perspective to yours. We welcome diverse viewpoints.
  • Employees participating in the discussion in our community are reminded of the staff’s social media guidelines.

We are pleased to share this online community with all our users. We believe that The BCC provides a unique opportunity to connect various communities to Black-Owned businesses. To achieve that objective, we would like everyone to keep in mind that a breach of these guidelines may result in the following:

Account Suspension:

We reserve the right to remove comments/posts that do not meet BCC Community Standards. If you continue to violate our Community Standards, your user account will be blocked for fifteen (1)5 days. Repeat offenders will be blocked from posting on the platform indefinitely and subject to the following suspension criteria.

  • 1st Offense: 15-day suspension
  • 2nd Offense: 30-day suspension
  • 3rd Offense: 45-day suspension
  • 4th Offense: Suspended indefinitely

Rules on Following

“Following allowed” is the default setting when you first sign up. Users can make their profiles private by going to account settings and enabling the “Following” setting.

Pinned Posts

Users can pin their favorite posts/reviews to their page so that those posts will be highlighted first when they view their page.

Themed options for user profile pages

Users will be able to choose from a variety of themes that they can apply to their profile page. Some themes will be holiday-based, and others will be generic.
